Description: Shaped in Ventura, California by Fletcher Chouinard (son of Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia) this board like Patagonia products is made using only the best and most sustainable material. Made with recycled beaded EPS foam and epoxy resin it is more lightweight and more durable than other boards. The cool thing about EPS foam is once water gets into foam from an open ding it does not completely destroy the board as it would with poly foam. The Ranchero is a super fun and versatile shape for riders of any skill level. Would be great for beginners to get the extra push needed to get into smaller waves, and would also be fun for more advanced surfers as well. Made for large flowing turns, this board would be a good travel board to take to various locations with great waves. Slight vee out tail helps with performance, while higher volume helps with easy wave entry. All around great board, if this ones on here for too long I got a feeling someone here at shred season is gonna take it!
